How does billing work if I have more than one shop?
Plans are chosen once per account (company). Shop is $50 per shop per month and Empire is $99 per shop per month — so 3 shops on Shop is $150/mo, and 3 shops on Empire is $297/mo. Solo stays a flat $20/mo for independent barbers.
Are there really zero booking fees?
Yes. We never charge your clients a booking fee. Your subscription covers everything.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Commander dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No contracts. No setup fees. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of your billing period.
How do payouts work?
Card charges settle on Haircut’s platform first. Your shop runs payouts from Commander (or on a schedule); we transfer the barber and shop shares via Stripe Connect. Chair rent is withheld from barber transfers when applicable. Bank arrival time follows Stripe’s payout schedule for each connected account.
What payment processing fees apply?
Standard Stripe card processing rates apply. Haircut does not add a transaction or booking fee; shops only pay their monthly subscription.
