What we do

Haircut helps barbershops and salons run day-to-day operations: staff scheduling, client booking, inventory, reporting, and payments. Clients book appointments online at participating shops. Shop owners and barbers manage their business through the Haircut web and mobile apps.

SMS messaging program

Haircut and participating shops send SMS only to clients who have voluntarily opted in to the messaging program. Providing a mobile number to complete a booking does not enroll someone in SMS; consent is optional and not required to schedule or purchase.

Who receives messages: End clients of participating barbershops who check the optional SMS consent box during online booking.

Why messages are sent: Appointment confirmations, reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, rebooking follow-ups, and occasional promotional offers from the shop the client booked with.

Message frequency: Varies by appointment activity and shop settings.

How customers opt in

During online booking, clients enter their name and phone number, then may check a separate, unchecked, optional consent checkbox. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
